things i tell myself

these are some things that i tell myself sometimes. keep in mind, i am no honorable source of wisdom, religious or otherwise. in fact, i imagine that most of these are just weak, subconscious regurgitations of sentiments already expressed more poignantly by people smarter than myself. that said, i nonetheless hope to one day achieve immortality by being exclusively credited with all of these sentiments in a best-selling series of jchap quote books sold for $13 each at Starbuck's.

i want to send more letters.

i'm so amazed by people who use snail mail. it's such an amazing effort. so many things have to be planned, coordinated and executed in order to successfully send a piece of postal mail -- addresses, stamps, envelopes and outgoing mailboxes, just to name a few. i wish i sent more letters to people i care about.

it's so cool to get mail from someone -- even just sending someone a quick postcard or a magazine article you think they might enjoy.

enough writing about it, i'm going to start doing it.
