things i tell myself

these are some things that i tell myself sometimes. keep in mind, i am no honorable source of wisdom, religious or otherwise. in fact, i imagine that most of these are just weak, subconscious regurgitations of sentiments already expressed more poignantly by people smarter than myself. that said, i nonetheless hope to one day achieve immortality by being exclusively credited with all of these sentiments in a best-selling series of jchap quote books sold for $13 each at Starbuck's.

fame, success, plans, and trust

it would be so easy to become famous and successful if only i were famous and successful.

i don't make plans, i make trajectories...velocities and directions into which i can launch myself.

one of my favorite aunts once told me, "just do what you love most, and the rest will follow." and i'm not one to distrust an aunt...

...so, here i am, doing what i love most, and i trust that the rest will follow.
